Dr. Sonja Payne was awarded her medical degree in Canada in 2004. She subsequently relocated to the United Kingdom where she completed a Master’s degree in Evidence-Based Practice.

Dr. Payne completed her postgraduate anesthetic training in Bristol UK, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2012. She has completed clinical fellowships in Transplant Anesthesia and Neuroanesthesia.

Dr. Payne is the current Director of Transplant Anesthesia at London Health Sciences Centre.
